At Earth Merchant, we’re redefining construction with eco-innovative materials like Hempcrete — lightweight, durable, and designed to sequester carbon while elevating modern architecture.
Years of Experience
For over two decades, Earth Merchant has led the movement toward natural, sustainable, and responsible construction solutions.
Every block is crafted from renewable, low-impact materials designed to restore the planet, not exhaust it.
A perfect blend of aesthetics and performance to suit today’s architectural demands.
Strong, lightweight, fire-resistant, and breathable — ensuring comfort and longevity.
Earth Merchant’s proprietary Hempcrete OlogyBrick is a bio-based composite made from industrial hemp, lime, and other plant derivatives. Unlike concrete, which produces high carbon emissions, Hempcrete absorbs CO₂ over time, making it a carbon-negative building material.
Sequesters 307 kg of CO₂ per cubic meter — equivalent to the annual emissions of three refrigerators.
Naturally pest-, flame-, and mold-resistant.
Improves indoor air quality through breathable thermal mass.
Lasts for generations with minimal maintenance.
Designed for Architects. Engineered for Builders. Trusted by Developers.
Whether you’re designing luxury residences, green-certified projects, or large-scale developments, Earth Merchant materials are engineered to meet your goals for sustainability, efficiency, and long-term value.
Trusted by Visionary Builders and Designers
From residential pioneers to commercial innovators, our partners are shaping the future of sustainable construction with Earth Merchant materials.
Our process ensures transparency, efficiency, and excellence at every phase — from idea to delivery.
We’re more than material suppliers — we’re sustainability partners helping redefine what modern building means.

Hempcrete is a natural building material made from the woody core of the hemp plant (called hemp hurd), a lime-based binder, and water. When mixed, it forms a lightweight, durable, and breathable wall system that naturally regulates temperature and humidity.
Hempcrete is not load-bearing. It’s used as an insulating infill around a structural frame (wood, steel, or concrete). The frame carries the load, while hempcrete provides insulation, soundproofing, and moisture control.
When installed correctly, hempcrete walls can last hundreds of years. The lime binder continues to mineralize over time, getting harder and more durable. It’s naturally resistant to fire, pests, mold, and rot — outlasting most modern materials.
Hempcrete creates a stable indoor climate by absorbing and releasing heat and moisture. While its R-value is about R-2.4 per inch, the thermal mass effect and air-tight plaster system make homes more energy efficient than traditional insulation.
Costs vary by region and design. On average:
• Turnkey builds: $150–$200 per square foot
• DIY or locally produced block systems (like ologybricks): much lower per wall section
Savings come from lower energy bills, healthier indoor air, and long-term durability.
Yes. Hempcrete works well in hot, cold, and humid climates. In wetter regions, using breathable lime plasters, raised foundations, and proper roof overhangs ensures lasting protection and performance.
Absolutely. Hempcrete has a two-hour fire rating and does not burn or emit toxic fumes. The lime binder acts as a natural fire retardant, making it ideal for fire-prone areas.
Hempcrete is carbon-negative. Hemp plants capture CO₂ while growing, and the lime binder absorbs more CO₂ as it cures. Each cubic meter of hempcrete stores roughly 100–150 kg of carbon, making it one of the most planet-friendly building materials available.
Yes! Hempcrete is DIY-friendly and non-toxic. Builders can cast it in forms, spray it, or use preformed OlogyBricks™ blocks and panels for faster assembly. Earth Merchant’s training programs provide certification for installers and builders.
Yes — under the “alternative materials and methods” section of most codes. Hemp-lime construction is gaining acceptance through ICC-compliant testing and ASTM standards. Earth Merchant’s products are designed to simplify the permitting process and ensure compliance.
